Nell Shakespeare is a soulful vocalist, globe-traveling songwriter, DJ and creative spirit whose music moves bodies and hearts alike. With over 15 years on stages from Ibiza villas to international celebrations, she blends passion, presence and authenticity into every performance.

 

Originally arriving in Ibiza in 2009 on a spontaneous lark that changed her life forever, Nell went from shy budding singer in a West End rock bar to a professional performer with deep roots in live music, event celebrations and studio collaborations.  

 

Over the years she has fronted bands, front-lined live gigs, taught vocal workshops and songwriting, and guided performers of all ages to confidence and expression. Her early journey in Ibiza shaped her voice — a rich mix of soul, R&B, jazz, rock, funk and house — and laid the foundation for a career that keeps evolving.  

 

Today, Nell is based in Valencia, Spain — a vibrant cultural hub where she continues to expand her artistic footprint and community connections. Since settling here, she’s brought her music to new audiences across Spain and Europe, weaving the warmth of Mediterranean rhythm into her live sets, DJ grooves, and original compositions.

 

Travel has always been central to her art. From performing at weddings and private events in Ibiza and beyond, to collaborating with producers and artists around the world, Nell’s music reflects her wide-ranging experiences and influences.
